Advertising Disclosure
How to tell ads, commercial links and our editorial content apart.
Current status
This site does not currently display advertising. We may apply to show ads through Google AdSense or a similar service, and if we are accepted we will update this page.
How to tell the difference
| Type | What it is | How to recognize it |
|---|---|---|
| Editorial content | Articles, guides and tools written or built by CreditPilot | The main content of a page, with a byline on articles |
| Advertisements | Third-party ads chosen by an ad network | In a separate box labeled “Advertisement” |
| Commercial links | Links that could earn a commission | Labeled “paid link” next to the link |
How we place ads
- We do not place ads over content or make them look like buttons or navigation.
- We do not place them on our legal pages, forms, calculators or error pages.
- We reserve space for them so that the page does not jump while you read.
- We do not ask anyone to click on ads.
Ads and our editorial content
Advertisers do not choose or review what we write. An ad on our site is not a recommendation, and we do not control every ad that a network selects. If you see an ad that seems misleading, please let us know through our contact form.
Ad networks in the US may not target credit offers on the basis of certain characteristics, and you should judge any offer on its own terms, on the advertiser’s official website.
Your privacy choices
Advertising can involve cookies. Our Privacy Policy explains how and what your choices are.
