Affiliate Disclosure
Whether we earn money from links, and how you can tell.
Current status
CreditPilot does not currently have affiliate agreements with card issuers or other financial companies, and we receive no compensation for links on this site.
What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a link that can pay a website a commission when a reader takes some action, such as applying for and being approved for a card. It usually costs the reader nothing extra.
If we use affiliate links
We may enter into affiliate agreements in the future. If we do:
- We will update this page to explain the arrangement.
- Paid links will be labeled clearly near the link itself, for example as “paid link,” rather than only on this page.
- Those links will be marked for search engines as sponsored.
Does compensation affect our content?
Our rule is that payment does not decide what we write or what we conclude. See our Editorial Policy and Methodology.
That said, a commission is a financial incentive, and no disclosure can make that fact disappear. A link being on our site is not a guarantee that a recommendation is unbiased or that a product is right for you. Please compare options, including those we do not cover, and check the terms with the issuer.
